Tourism resources and delicacies from Zhanjiang with local characteristics were displayed at the expo, along with featured cultural creative products and intangible cultural heritage performances, including Leizhou straw plaiting, Wuchuan puppet shows, and Suixi lion dances.
Agencies of more than 40 countries and regions in China, as well as delegations of over 20 domestic provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions took part in the exhibition at the expo. Industrial exchange activities were also carried out, in which invited experts and industrial representatives discussed new trends in the development of the cultural and tourism industries under normalized COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control measures.
